Wubeshet Mehari - President:

-Mr. Mehari brings a lot of energy and community involvement and management experience to the Ethiopian Diaspora Team. Mr. Mehari is the founder and former president of Ethiopian Students Association International, a student organization with members and chapters in the United States, United Kingdom and Ethiopia. Mr. Mehari is also an established entrepreneur who is a founder and and Senior partner of Ghion Financial and Skyline Groups Inc. Financial and CPA firms that have successfully been operating for the last 14 years. His experience with ESAi and the two financial companies is noteworthy in that he developed a wealth of contacts in the Ethiopian community in North America. Mr. Mehari has also assumed leadership role in a non-profit (community development) organizations People-to-People, Inc. Meron F. Cherenet - Vice President:

Ms. Cherenet is the Head of Business Processes & Administration at Applied Biomimetic Inc. Previously, Ms. Cherenet served as a Senior Research Associate leading the Department of Protein Engineering and Purification at AquaZ Inc. Ms. Cherenet has a proven track records about her passion to serving others. She is the former Co-Founder of Hold My Hand, a non-profit organization aimed at serving homeless children in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia by providing basic human needs as well as education, love and attention; which she deems a necessity for every child. Currently, Ms.Cherenet is involved with the Bennie Mentor Program coaching young adults coming from different walks of life. Coming from a family who is well oriented with the coffee business, Ms. Cherenet also has in depth knowledge about coffee processing and co-owns Insomia Coffee Roasting and Packaging Company in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Ms. Cherenet received her Bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Benedict, Minnesota with a focus in Biology and Psychology and an MBA from Xavier University.

Alem Abreha - VP of Volunteer:

Mr. Abreha comes with extensive experience of volunteering in non-profit organizations that provide shelter homes, after-school tutoring programs and housing rehabilitations. Mr. Abreha strongly believes in the power of volunteerism to garner the potential of Ethiopians in the diaspora. Mr. Abreha is a technology professional by trade with more than a decade of experience.
